2015 Farm Tour

Vistors were able to get up close with Nigerian Dwarf goats and take in the beautiful 10 acre woodlands at Haute Goat, discover the history at Hoard Station Sale Barn, experience milking at Godden Dairy, and learn about Alpacas at  Twoloom Alpacas. They were also able to enjoy a delicious farm lunch at McCormick’s Heritage Meats.

The Farm Tour visited 5 locations in the Trent Hills Area. The first stop at Strattons Farm, a honey, vegetable and pastured meat producer near Stirling. Next stop, Hoard’s Station Sales Barn, where a live auction took place. The third stop, at Healey Falls Bison, included a delicious locally sourced lunch of grass fed bison sausages. After lunch, the tour visited Sunnybrooke Farms, an award winning dairy farm, near Campbellford. The day ended with a tour of Masson Meadows sheep farm.
