Grow your own food

A food garden can yield the freshest and healthiest food available.  It also brings a sense of accomplishment.  Your own grown food just tastes better for a variety of reasons!

Keep a healthy mind and body

You may not realize how much exercise you are getting from digging dirt, hauling water, or stretching for that perfectly ripe tomato.  But your body sure will!  Gardening is a great dose of physical exercise.  It has also been proven to significantly improve mental health.

Connect to nature and community

Meet and connect with fellow gardeners.  Deepen your connection to the natural world by sinking your hands in the soil and spending more time outdoors.  You’ll be happy you did.

Make choices you can feel good about.

Choosing to eat local is good for the environment, the community, and for your health.

Upcoming Kids Cooking Classes

We are excited to announce that the Warkworth Abundance Project partners will be joining the IncrEdible Trent Hills umbrella.  First, we are focused on bringing back the Gr. 7 & 8 cooking classes that take place at Percy Centennial in Warkworth.  We hope to bring similar programming to Campbellford and Hastings schools in the future.

West-Campbellford Community Garden

Thanks to the support of the Campbellford-Seymour Community Foundation and in partnership with Innresponse, Campbellford will welcome a second community garden this year at the corner of Alma and Simpson Street.  More info to come!

Our mandate is evolving...

Growing out of the Campbellford Incredible Edibles Festival, “IncrEdible Trent Hills” has become a local hub that celebrates, supports, and connects the community of Trent Hills and its neighbours through food and food-related initiatives.  It is run by a group of hard working volunteers and supported by local sponsorship and fundraising efforts.
