IncrEdible School Nutrition Program
The “Incredible School Nutrition Program” kicked off in fall of 2022 with support from the Campbellford-Seymour Community Foundation, InnResponse, and our major sponsor Sharpe’s Food Market. Organized by IncrEdible Trent Hills, Grade 8 students at Kent and Hillcrest public schools now receive monthly cooking and gardening classes from local chefs and gardeners as part of their Nutrition curriculum.

Campbellford Community Gardens
The “Campbellford Community Gardens” include two community garden sites on either side of Campbellford. Both locations are now run in tandem, as half private plots and half open community plots. They act as the learning grounds for the gardening portion of the IncrEdible School Nutrition Program and support the community with fresh produce throughout the growing season. Thank you to the Campbellford-Seymour Community Foundation and the Municipality of Trent Hills for supporting us in the development of the Simpson Street Community Garden and to the original Doxsee Garden groups in entrusting us to take this project over.

Our mandate is evolving...
IncrEdible Trent Hills envisions a happy and healthy Trent Hills that is drawn together through a thriving food-based community and economy, where: there is awareness and support for our diverse farmers and food producers; many opportunities are organized for all of us to come together around food; and our beautiful region is celebrated as an agri-food destination. Through the hard work of our volunteers and community supporters, we aim to represent a voice for local food where needed and support the ongoing transformation of a food-centered culture.
